Antigal UNO Malbec

Antigal UNO Malbec

Malbec is a dark red grape that produces deeply colored wines with rich berry flavors.

It is one of the few varietals permitted for blending in the Bordeaux region of France and is the primary grape used in what is known as "the black wine," produced in the region of Cahors, located further south.

The Star of Argentina

Despite its European origins, Malbec has become the flagship red grape of Argentina, where it flourishes in the country's mild, dry climate.

Antigal UNO Malbec - La Dolores VineyardsThe finest Malbec vineyards are located in the Mendoza region, at the foot of the Andes Mountains. The wines from this region are intensely colored, with rich aromas of dark berries and soft tannins.

Antigal UNO

Antigal UNO is a new-style Malbec - complex and well-structured as opposed to intense.

It has aromas of blackberry and ripe plum, a mild natural acidity and soft tannins.

The oak barrel aging adds a hint of vanilla and smoke to the flavor. Antigal UNO pairs beautifully with hearty red meat entrees like steak, lamb, or our Individual Beef Wellingtons as well as chocolate and berry desserts.

Alcohol by volume 13.8%
