Woodford Reserve Belmont Jewel

The Belmont Jewel is the official cocktail of the 2011 Belmont Stakes.

Ingredients ~

1-1/2 ounces Woodford Reserve Bourbon
2 ounces lemonade
1 ounce pomegranate juice

Directions ~

Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain over ice into a rocks glass. Garnish with a lemon wedge or cherry.

Woodford Reserve is a premium Kentucky "small batch" bourbon. It has aromas of oak and vanilla and flavors of spice and honey and a smooth finish. ABV 45%.
