Tequila Cocktail Trio

Try this trio of cocktail recipes, each made with a different tequila from Riazul's fabulous lineup.
Black Mamba
2 ounces Riazul Silver
3/4 ounce simple syrup
3/4 ounce fresh lime juice
3 blackberries
Muddle the blackberries, combine with the other ingredients and shake with ice. Serve straight up garnished with a twist of lime.
Riazul Silver (or blanco) is best served chilled, over ice or mixed.
Repo Twist
2 ounces Riazul Reposado
3/4 ounce fresh lime juice
3/4 ounce simple syrup
Fresh mint leaf
2 slices skinned cucumber
Muddle together reposado, lime juice, simple syrup and fresh mint. Shake with ice and strain into a glass. Garnish with cucumber slices.
Riazul Reposado is aged for nine months in French and American oak barrels. The resulting flavor is light, fruity and slightly oaky. It's delicious for sipping or mixing with just a few complementary ingredients.
Diablito
2 ounce Riazul Añejo
5 pieces of lime
3/4 ounce simple syrup
2 slices skinned cucumber
3 dashes hot sauce
Muddle the añejo, lime, simple syrup and cucumber in a shaker. Fill with cracked ice, shake eight times and strain into a glass. Top off with 3 dashes of hot sauce.
Riazul Añejo is double-distilled and aged for two years in toasted French oak barrels. It boast flavors of vanilla, caramel, spice and dried fruit. It's best enjoyed as a sipping tequila, but paired with the right ingredients it can make an exquisite cocktail.
