A Spirited Halloween

After the kids wrap up their trick-or-treating, relax and enjoy a grown-up treat with one of these decorative cocktails from the creative mixologists at SKYY Vodka.

Jack O'Lantern

2 ounces SKYY Infusions Citrus
1 ounce mango nectar or juice
1/2 ounce orange juice
1/2 ounce fresh sour (see below)

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well, pour into a round glass and garnish with an orange slice and a mint leaf laid flat on top. (Fresh sour is 1/4 oz fresh lime juice combined with 3/4 oz simple syrup).

Pumpkin SpicePumpkin Spice

2 ounces SKYY Infusions Ginger
1/2 ounce lime juice
1 ounce pumpkin puree
Splash of honey water*
Slice of fresh ginger

Combine all ingredients except ginger slice in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain over fresh ice into a Collins glass. Add long slice of ginger into glass lengthwise for garnish.

*Honey water is made using equal parts honey and water.

Vampire PunchVampire Punch

18 ounces SKYY Infusions Cherry
8 ounces lime juice
6 ounces cranberry juice
2-1/2 ounces grenadine
Lemon-lime soda
Fresh cherries, pits removed

Wash and remove pits and stems from fresh cherries, and muddle in cocktail shaker. Combine the rest of the ingredients except soda in bowl and stir. Top with the soda and muddled cherries.

Ghostly CooladaGhostly Coolada

2 ounces SKYY Infusions Pineapple
1 ounce cream of coconut or coconut milk
1/2 ounce lime juice
2 circular chocolates

Place all ingredients except chocolate in cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously.

Strain into a cocktail glass, and float chocolate circles on the top of the drink for your Ghostly Coolada's eyes.

Vampires ElixirVampires Elixir

1-1/2 ounces SKYY Infusions Raspberry
3/4 ounce white chocolate liqueur
1 ounce half and half
Strawberry syrup

Dress strawberry syrup on the inside and rim of a chilled martini glass. Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice.

Shake vigorously and strain into martini glass. Garnish with vampire teeth.

Candy Corn CocktailCandy Corn Cocktail

2 ounces SKYY Infusions Pineapple
1-1/2 ounces orange sherbet, softened
1 ounce pineapple juice
1 ounce milk
1 ounce simple syrup

Combine SKYY Infusions Pineapple and pineapple juice in cocktail shaker with ice. Strain over fresh ice into a clear collins glass.

Combine softened orange sherbet and ice in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. Strain, and pour over bar spoon to layer in the rocks glass.

Combine simple syrup and milk in cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. Layer milk mixture on top of sorbet mixture.
