Tasting Notes ~

Laughing Dog Brewing's Alpha Dog Imperial IPA is an American Double IPA brewed in Idaho with honey, premium pale and Munich malts.

Recommended Glassware: Double IPAs are best served in a snifter-type glass.

Appearance: Pours a hazy amber color with a medium white head.

Aroma: Hoppy aromas with notes of pine, citrus and honey hit the nose.

Alpha Dog has a moderate amount of carbonation. The initial flavor is bitter hops with a bitter-sweet finish and a thick mouthfeel. Alcohol by volume is 8.7%
